SYRACUSE — Friends and families from across the region enjoyed the Fort Wayne Philharmonic Orchestra in a concert celebration of the American spirit.
The Steel Dynamics Foundation Patriotic Pops performance was Wednesday, June 27, at Oakwood Resort in Syracuse. This free outdoor concert was perfect for the whole family. Conductor Caleb Young led the patriotic concert.
The first song was “The Star-Spangled Banner.” The group performed 11 other songs, including “Born on the 4th of July” and “American Salute.” The concert’s finale was “Overture to 1812.”
This concert was made possible, in part, with support from the Kosciusko County Community Foundation, Kosciusko County KREMC Operation Round Up, the Kenneth and Lela Harkless Foundation and the Wawasee Property Owners Association.
