MILFORD — A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital after an accident south of Milford today, Thursday, July 13.
The accident happened around 3:17 p.m. when emergency responders were called to the scene. Blake Bayz of Warsaw, was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle south on SR 15 when his sweatshirt got caught in a wheel, causing the cycle to spin out of control. Bayz’s motorcycle left the roadway and came to rest on the east side of SR 15. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
Bayz was transported via ambulance to Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital in Warsaw. He had minor injuries and possibly a broken arm.
Milford Police, Milford Fire Department and Lutheran EMS responded to the scene. Traffic was stopped in both directions to enable the scene to be cleaned up.
The patient is put into the ambulance and taken to a Warsaw hospital.
