WARSAW — A fundraiser for Isaiah 11 Ministry is set for Friday, Aug. 26, at Hansen’s Eastlake Skating Center, Warsaw; doors open at 4 p.m. and the bout starts at 5 p.m. They will play against the Lansing Mitten Mavens.
The Bone City Rollers’s goal is “serving our community by donating our time and resources to local charities,” according to its website. All proceeds from the bout will benefit Isaiah 11 Ministry. The team will also be doing a dog and cat food drive Aug. 26.
A not-for-profit, Isaiah 11 Ministry offers counseling and life-coaching for individuals, couples, and families. It is a faith-based ministry.
The roller derby team will be doing a work day from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 24, at Isaiah 11 Ministry. The team’s members will clean and enhance the cat enclosure. The team has already done one work day at the ministry’s site.
