Debbie Jo Whybrew, 47, Silver Lake, died at 8:34 a.m. Monday, March 1, 2021, at her residence.

She was born on March 28, 1973, in Warsaw, to the late Joe W. and Suellen (Jones) Slone. She married Aug. 18, 1998, in Las Vegas, Nev., to Joe C. Whybrew; he survives.
She was a 1991 graduate of Tippecanoe Valley High School. She worked for Kosciusko Community Hospital for 16 years as a Unit Clerk as well as being a bus driver for Warsaw Community Schools for 14 years. She enjoyed shopping and being by the lake. She was known to enjoy socializing with friends and spending time with her boys.
She is also survived by her sons, Jared Whybrew and Justin Whybrew, both of Silver Lake; sisters, Peg ( Jim) Smith, Warsaw, and Penny Slone, Burket; and a brother, Jason (Gina) Slone, Warsaw. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A private family service will take place with the interment in the Mentone Cemetery, Mentone.
The arrangements for Whybrew are entrusted to King Memorial Home, 101 N. Tucker St., Mentone. Donations can be made in her memory to the donor’s choice of charity.
