SYRACUSE — “It’s been a great turnout and the cooperative weather has a lot to do with it,” said Tyler McLead, program director of the Syracuse Parks Department, about today’s Syracuse Fall Festival.
With sunny skies and temperatures in the low 60s, it was perfect weather for the Saturday, Oct. 8, festival, held at Lakeside Park in Syracuse.
Activities included face painting, games, food, pumpkin decorating and live music. Other events included pig races and pony rides. The Syracuse Lions Club sold hot dogs, Spanish hot dogs and sloppy joes. Grace Lutheran Church sold bratwursts.
The festival started at 9 a.m. and wrapped up at 3 p.m.
